Waterproofing and damp-proofing have become major concerns of modern day construction. The underground walls of a building need protection from infiltration of free water and moisture often deriving from a negative hydrostatic pressure. This can be achieved by external lining (usually an APP bituminous membrane), an internal protection (usually a chemical compound acting by osmosis / crystallization) or a combination of the two systems.
Any waterproofing layer in contact with soil needs protection from external damage: we offer POLYFOND KIT membranes, nowadays the most popular protection layer is an HDPE (high-density polyethylene) membrane whose strength to impact and corrosion is well known. It is much cheaper and faster than a skin wall.
